The HC7174SB Auto Setback is a completely tamperproof thermostat with automatic setback that limits the heat to 71 and A/C to 74. The HC7174SB resets itself to 68 degrees every 3 hours (when in the heat mode). Has all the advantages of a 7 day programmable thermostat, except there is no programming needed. Our thermostats are completely tamper proof unlike the competition because, the temperature limitations are added directly to the circuit board. If you’re looking for a landlord thermostat that is tamper resistant and is built with energy savings in mind, this is it!
Important Notice: Our thermostats will work for heat pumps but if it has emergency/auxiliary heat it WILL NOT work.

Awesome piece of technology to use for home or rental properties is vey effective, helping you save money and avoiding arguments. My tenants get the right and stable temperature I save money and I have to hear no complaints; the item was deliverd in a prompt manner beating the timeline I was expecting so I just had to get them for my other rental properties I am very happy with the product and although it seems steardy enough to last many years I will buy them again if I ever need too no doubt.
